this is my third time visiting this lovely city name Jogjakarta, coz im an Indonesian, Jogjakarta is not a stranger city for all youngster in Indonesia, they called Jogjakarta as "kota pelajar" or in english "students city", why? almost 20% of their productive people are students and the best 137 public university are in Jogjakarta.

on this lovely city, i had a chance to revisit some places like Keraton Yogyakarta, Taman Sari, Candi Borobudur, Candi prambanan and Candi Ratu Boko, Alun-Alun Selatan and of course the amazing local market Malioboro.

there is a reason why Jogjakarta got call as a special district city in Indonesia, Jogjakarta is one of the city that still have Sultan (red : king) as their head of government from generation to generation, where the royal blood still continues rule the roost, and the people of Jogjakarta really loves their king, and only accept him as the head of government on their city. the Keraton Jogjakarta is a palace where the Royal family lives and do their activity, some of the area are closed for the private activity of the family, other than that other area are open for the common people to visit and learn how the life in the palace and what inside the palace looks like, you may see an amazing old stuff like old kitchen appliances, garments that been use from generations, oldies musical instrumental, and many stuff. you may learn how the "abdi dalem"or the loyal servant of the palace live their live for their king and spend the rest of their life for their king, and many amazing stuff you can see on this palace. and most of all are the history and how the royal blood family live their life from generations.

next visit is Taman Sari, Taman Sari is the place where the royal family of Jogjakarta spend their leisure time before on the old times, too bad the places already a bit neglected, and many irresponsible tourist came and did not take care this historical place. this place has an amazing big bath, where the princesses and princes take a bath, of course they have each area for them, king and queens or even the harem. and also this place got burned and earth quake effect few years back then, but the history of this place on the wall or floor and even all the way street of this place hold an amazinf story no one can tell, except them on their silence way

Candi Borobudur or Buddhism Borobudur Temple, is the largest temple in Indonesia and before is counted as one of the seven wonders of the world, located in Magelang, central of Java, is one of amazing temple you may see, you may also try the sunrise tour over the borobudur, i tried one but unfortunately the morning was pretty cloudy so the sun was hiding still on the bed of cloud, but still the atmosphere of the morning over borobudur with the cold weather and foggy, made the feeling of the morning on borobudur feels like magic.

Candi prambanan, one of the largest Hindusm temple in Indonesia has a sacred story, counted as UNESCO world heitage. candi prambanan also called as candi Loro Jonggrang, and near Candi Prambana, is another temple name candi ratu Boko, called as the father of candi Lara Jonggrang, both has connected story, the place is nice and you may learn the historic story or even fable story of this place. they say the great time to come to ratu boko temple is on sunset time.

after tired visiting those place above, its time to relax and visiting fun place :D i had a chance to visit Alun alun Selatan Jogjakarta, this place is like a big garden of Keraton and people of Jogja use it to gathering, and this place is pretty fun, i meant you may try to ride the sparkling car, ahahahah its fun even its pretty embarassing at firts! this is how it look for the sparkling car :p

i really love to blend with local and eat local food, i always try something on every of my trip. and local market is always a priority for me to visit, to see how local socialize or even checking what the market sell and most of all cheap stuff!! ahahaha its a must to check, so i visit this malioboro market and shopped some stuff, you may see foods, snacks, clothes, weird stuff or even you may see local singer show their talent, its always amazing to socialize on wherever you step your feet into.

where to stay in Jogjakarta? well, my advise is on every trip you do,try to stay in local guesthouse instead of hotel. you can otally blend with local people and trust me, theyre nice people to blend with, this trip i has chance to stay in guesthouse near Bantul. its one of area in Jogja where art people live, i has a chance to meet with youngster who do some art like painting, sculpture art, music and so many.

its one good experienced to chat with them and learn about art with them
