Dieng Plateau
so, after hiking on Mt Prau, me and my friends had half day to enjoy Dieng Plateau, on this limit time, only several places we can visit.
the first visit is Telaga Warna, or in english called colorful river, long time ago this river has 3 different color, science said because the river contain sulphur, thats why when the sun shine through the river, it looks like have blue, green or even yellow color. or there's also the story of urban legend about the old time queen that took a bath on the river and her colorful dresses fell on the river and it effect the color of the river.
anyway despite of the science or even urban legend, this place is amazing and calm, you may just sit and watch the beautiful scene of forest here. we spent time here with crazy things and took photos of silhouette while we jump and all :D
im so grateful that i have an amazing people around me to travel with, this new and stranger people are called friends and i know, with them i can rely on.
after we rest and sit and joking around on telaga warna, we decided to back to the homestay and while we walk back to the homestay theres an independence day parad, where all the people on village is hanging around on town and enjoyin this Indonesia independence day.
you may see lots of villagers, are out and dancing and singing or even just watching to enjoy this great day of Indonesia!
so while we back and we just get in touch with the crowd and singing, dancing with them, i meant sometimes people that live on the village, far from city, is amazingly can do the parade for Independence day, ive been grew up in Jakarta, city of Indonesia but this is the first time i really feel the spirit of Independence day! to enjoy the crowd and amazingly blend with them are precious!
im such a shy and introvert girl, but come on! when hangin out with the villagers and blend with them, i sing, i dance and its just fun!
the next day, we spent time to just hang out around the village and we went to Candi arjuna, Arjuna temple complex is the oldest Hindu temple in Java . Arjuna temples have been built in 809 AD and is a place of worship of Lord Shiva . Arjuna temple complex was rediscovered by a British soldier named Van Kinsbergen in 1814. This temple was discovered in a state submerged in water marshes. The new drying process carried out 40 years later . Temples was later named in accordance with the puppet characters by locals. The main temple is a temple Arjuna.
after fun on candi arjuna, then we continue to cool place name Garu DIeng, its like a hill where you can se the shole village of Dieng, and its so prettyy, you may just sit and order meatball soup and just enjoy the scene!
sometimes the simple thing in life is the best thing you ever experience and especially with cool friends i have here, nothing can beat that.
well thats little story from me and my journey to Dieng with my friends, its tiring, exhausted and all, but i love every moments of it.
